The VSOL V1600D Mini 4-Port EPON OLT is a compact Optical Line Terminal designed for small and medium FTTH, FTTB, enterprise and ISP fibre networks. It combines four EPON PON ports with four Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports in a compact chassis, making it suitable for operators that need more subscriber capacity than a 1-port or 2-port OLT without moving immediately to a larger 8- or 16-port platform. 

Each EPON interface supports a maximum 1:64 optical split ratio, giving the four-port OLT a theoretical capacity of up to 256 ONU positions. VSOL specifies symmetrical 1.25 Gbps EPON operation, a transmission distance of up to 20 km, TX wavelength of 1490 nm and RX wavelength of 1310 nm.

The VSOL V1600D Mini 4-Port EPON OLT provides a useful balance between compact size and subscriber capacity.
