The TP-Link TL-SM5110-LR 10GBase-LR SFP+ LC Transceiver is designed for high-capacity 10 Gigabit Ethernet over single-mode fibre. It operates at 1310nm, supports 9/125µm fibre, LC duplex connectivity, DDM, SFP+ MSA and hot-swappable operation, and provides transmission distances of up to 10 kilometres.

Compared with the TL-SM5110-SR, the LR version is optimized for much longer fibre routes, making it suitable for ISP backbones, enterprise networks, campuses, building-to-building connections, data centres and high-capacity CCTV infrastructure

Current Kenyan market references are approximately KES 5,144 excluding VAT / KES 5,967 including VAT for TL-SM5110-LR, while the newer SM5110-LR is listed around KES 5,048 excluding VAT / KES 5,855 including VAT
